All those days I had to store my gloves hat and even coat at home. Now I don't have to burn up on a ride to work. There is a downside to November being here. The time change.. Now I have to get up early to ride in daylight.. The sunn goes downn early and it makes for a short ride till dark.. There are so many trails I would like to ride and I like to not go for rides not directly to work.. For one Willow Sprinngs Road is kinda busy and I don't like busy in the morning.. The only other days are weekends and I like to get my rest in the morning.. But I so like biking that I believe I will some time soon - get up early for a bike ride.. Saturday work is there too... after thannnks giving I will be at UPS.. I did laundry today.. I have more shorts than long jean pants and I like jeans at work.. With cooler weather comes cooler rains and the posibility of snow... The knit cap does well to warm but I won't ride in pouring rain or a heavy snow - how could I?? I know a hot shower can await me at home but only at home.. That's my life now..I also get emails from SLCC now so I feel a little more in the loop..

| I hope it gets a little cooler.. I have been gettinng hot on my bikerides not only too and from work but on my after-work canal path/old plank road trail paths. It is true that now since my last blog I have been wearing pants. I have been debating on going back to shorts but the mornings that started below 50 degrees even around 8 o'clock were windy days and it felt a bit chilly in the morning and I figured I would ride home at a much slower rate wich helped some. also I have nnow wore a jacket I haven't worn since early this year and though I was drivinng I did wear it all winnter. I figure I have a knit cap in my backpack I havenn't wore yet and I have gloves I might take out this week maybe tomorrow. I just don't like cold wet. As long as I can stay dry for the day I am fine. I don't know how long. I also don't PLAN on ridinng in the middle of the night and am gettinng better on figuring out how lonng till daylight fades. I don't cross roads unless I check all possible directions for vehicles.. And since it is gettinng later in the year I don't expect to go as far mostly though I would love for the sake of knowing I could do it.. bike both the canal and plank road paths. I believe I would on weekdays probably go directly to work and increasinngly come straight home. I right now love the canal path but I sometimes come straight home now. especially when evenings speak of rain. Not sure about snow yet. Not on my mind. won't hear about it either. Don't try to tell me about it.It isn't yet. |

| The temperature has been pretty warm so far and not too many very rainy days. the weather forcasters are predicting cooler temperatures next week. They have predicted alot of miserable rainy days and there haven't been too many. They have predicted cool-downs and there haven't been too bad of cool-downs. I have been riding my bike much distances in shorts and mornings have been a little chilly at times as well as some of my unplanned later evening return trips. I haven't even biked in lang pants yet , well not in a long time. As I recall, I got kinda warm , hot in fact riding in long pants. That is why even on kinda cool days I was wearing shorts , but when the presunrise temperature gets as cool as they are predicting I love to ride in long pants, as far as I remember. I don't ride in a soaking rain in cool weather so I just might get a few miles on my car again depending on the weather. It has been nice to enjoy the outdoors before and after work. Good prep excercise and wonderful air in the forest preserves as well as the view. I don't know too many bikers or walkers or maybe even gardeners who apreciate and pay attention to each tree's new leaves where there weren't any and remembering that tree and it's growth and anticipating seeing the progress in growth the next time they see it. Or new grass where nothing was growing before or new tree saplings growing where no tree was before or seeing on a tree the first fruits or nuts as they first show up and to keep on watching each day as they ripen. Scott Miller gets excited when the radicles of planted seeds in the hot house come up the first time and he is careful to get the well rounded plants. Well, I enjoy seeing nature start a new life in the wild weather it's plants or animals like the storks at the ponds lately or the frogs on that rainy day gustav came through Illinois or the small turtle the day before or the many deer I have noticed or even the possum or racoons or skunks running off in the woods or prairie. I enjoy the change in water levels along the canal path. I don't like riding too deep of water like the I am going to say mexican-american though I do not know has nationality,did. On a warm day I don't mind getting wet as long as I am on my way home to a warm shower or if only a little wat then working in a dry warehouse is ok , a greenhouse would be the same for sunlight even on a cloudy day in a greenhouse warms up the greenhouse and even on cool days heaters are usually drying the air. |

| Do people just check out my likes or do they listen or what? why don't people comment on why they veiwed my ILike music? I will check out comments at my entry and on any other growing numbers in the comments. I don't have much to say usually but I would like to know who and how they like or dislike my web postings. please keep the language clean I will delete or even block postings I find that are not clean. |
